Goal and Incentive Configuration Steps for IN-Gauge Restaurant Department

Goal Configuration: [Goal Name]

Step 1: Basic Settings Configuration

  1. Set Tracking Period: Select [Timeframe Option]
  2. Select Outlet: Choose [Outlet Name]
  3. Define Meal Period: Select [Meal Period]
  4. Choose Goal KPI: Select [KPI Metric]

Step 2: Goal Timeline Setup

  1. Set Goal Start Date: Enter [Date]
    • Note: The goal will become active from this date forward

Step 3: Target Improvement Calculation

  1. Enter Previous Week Revenue Per Check: Input [Amount]
  2. Set Improvement Percentage: Enter [Percentage]
    • The system will auto-calculate:
      • Improvement Amount: [Auto-calculated]
      • Calculated Goal Revenue Per Check: [Auto-calculated]

Step 4: Revenue Gap Analysis

The system will display:

  • Last Week's Revenue: [Amount]
  • Last Week's Number of Checks: [Number]
  • Goal Revenue: [Amount]
  • Revenue Increase Expected: [Amount]

Step 5: Goal Participants Selection

  1. Click "Select All" checkbox to include all participants
  2. Verify all team members are selected:
    • Confirm "[Number] of [Total] selected" appears
    • All staff members should have checkmarks next to their names

Incentive Plan Configuration

Step 6: Incentive Tiers Setup

Configure  performance tiers:

Tier 1:

  • Target: [Amount]
  • Percentage: [Percentage]
  • Estimated Commission: [Amount]

Tier 2:

  • Target: [Amount]
  • Percentage: [Percentage]
  • Estimated Commission: [Amount]

Tier 3:

  • Target: [Amount]
  • Percentage: [Percentage]
  • Estimated Commission: [Amount]

Step 7: Outlet Data Configuration

Enter the following baseline metrics:

  1. Average Number of Checks Per Server: [Number]
  2. Outlet's RPC: [Amount]
  3. Previous Week Checks: [Number]
  4. Prior Week Revenue: [Amount]
  5. Number of Servers: [Number]

Step 8: Final Review and Activation

  1. Verify the progress bar shows complete status
  2. Confirm the goal shows as active
  3. Review all settings before saving the configuration

Important Notes:

  • The system uses auto-calculation features for improvement amounts and estimated commissions
  • All participating staff members must be selected for the goal to properly track performance
  • The incentive tiers are progressive, encouraging higher performance with increased commission percentages
